Echinacea is a beautiful flowering plant in the Asteraceae family with various medicinal properties. 

It has been antidepressant properties and is proven to increase the stimulating action of L-DOPA. It is believed by many to stimulate the immune system and is used in Native American medicine externally for wounds, burns and insect bites. It makes a wonderful aromatic tea.
